During a live meeting

The dock, panel, and notification surfaces — and how to use the live feed, filters, and meeting controls.

When a meeting is live, click Open on the dock to bring up the panel's live meeting view.

The on-screen layout

MagicScreen uses three lightweight surfaces during a call:

  • Dock — the small control bar at the bottom of your screen (open/close, record/stop, hide notifications).
  • Panel — the main window with the live transcript, insights, and chat.
  • Notifications (toasts) — small pop-ups near the top of your screen that show insights and script suggestions even when the panel is closed.

The live feed

The center of the live meeting view is a single feed that combines:

  • Transcript — what's being said, with speakers identified, updating in real time.
  • Insights — AI observations labeled INSIGHT, surfaced as the conversation unfolds.
  • Scripts — script suggestions, if you have an active sales script.

A timer at the top shows elapsed time with a live indicator.

Filtering the feed

Click Filter to choose what shows in the feed. Under Show in feed, toggle:

  • Insights
  • Scripts
  • Transcript
  • Debug

Turn off whatever you don't want to see so you can focus during the call.

Meeting controls

  • Pause / Resume — temporarily pause and resume the meeting.
  • End Meeting — stops recording and moves the meeting to your notes. You'll confirm first: "Recording stops and the meeting will move to your notes. You can still edit notes and view the transcript after."

Linking the meeting to an account

Click the Account button in the meeting's action bar to link the call to a customer account. Once linked, the account name shows in place of the button (hover to unlink). Linking a meeting to an account lets its Living Notes update with what was discussed. See Accounts and Account Intelligence.

Attaching notes

Use + Add note to attach a Note Template to the meeting. Attached notes appear as small pills:

  • A pill that's still pending shows "Queued — generates when meeting ends."
  • Living-note pills and snapshot-note pills are color-coded so you can tell them apart.

See Notes and templates overview for how notes work.

Hiding notifications while sharing

If you're screen sharing, click Hide notifications (the eye icon) on the dock so your insight and script pop-ups don't appear to other attendees. Toggle it back on when you're done.
